If you use MapQuestTM (arguably the best internet map provider, although good things have been reported about mapsonus.switchboard.com) and are coming to us on the Mass Pike from the west (I-90E) or on the Expressway from the south (I-93N) you will get lost.
Their I-90E step #8 (Take the RT-3 N/I-93 N exit. 0.14 mile) was never correct; #9 (Take the EXPRESSWAY SOUTH/ALBANY STREET ramp toward SOUTH BOSTON) was until recently almost correct; and #10 (Take the ALBANY STREET ramp) is now forever obsolete. The correct I-90E Exit is 24-A to Kneeland Street, turn left following signs for Albany Street.
Their I-93N step #10 (Take the exit- exit number 19- toward E. BERKELEY ST./BROADWAY) is impossible and has been since the permanent closing of Exit 19 in 2002.
Even if you survive the above, you will be mistakenly sent to Boston's Back Bay instead of the South End if you do not insert our ZIP code 02118 in their "optional" ZIP field, or use the word East to modify "Berkeley".
